Ethiopia’s Ambassador Stresses Need for Collaboration with Eritrea

Ethiopia’s Ambassador to Eritrea, Redwan Hussein, has expressed the need to work more closely with Eritrea in the fields of education, agriculture, transport and communication, trade and industry.
This was pointed out at a discussion Redwan held with high-level Eritrean government officials, according to Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Ambassador Redwan stated that working more closely in the fields of education, agriculture, transport, communication, trade and industry will strengthen bilateral cooperation.
This would further benefit the peoples of the two sisterly nations, he added.
The Ethiopian ambassador has also promised to exert relentless efforts to promote the mutual interest of the peoples of Ethiopia and Eritrea.
The Eritrean government officials on their part underscored their readiness to cooperate with their Ethiopian counterparts for the common benefit of the peoples of Eritrea and Ethiopia, it was learned.
The Eritrean high-level delegation comprised Education Minister Semere Russom, Agriculture Minister Arefaine Berhane, Transport and Communication Minister Tesfasellassie Berhane, Trade and Industry Minister Nesredin Bekit, and Governor of the Central Region Major General Romodan Osman.
