High-level Eritrean delegation arrives in Addis Ababa today

A high-level delegation from Eritrea will arrive in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia today, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ethiopia (MoFA).

Eritrean President Isaias Afwerki last week announced plans to send a delegation to Addis Ababa for peace talks with Ethiopia.

The announcement was made at the annual martyr’s day celebration in Asmara, the capital of Eritrea.

Early this month, Ethiopia also announced it was accepting fully the Algiers Agreement and decision of the Ethio-Eritrea Boundary Commission.
