Collaborative initiative for launching e- journal for Eritrean college students and academia society

An e-journal named ‘EriNal’ has launched massive campaign thus to nominate effective individuals, members of the academia, and respective partners before going online with its first publication with researches from Eritrea’s higher education and research institutions students and graduates ahead of this month.
In a message the founders gave to African Journals Online (AJOL) organization on January 17 of 2018, they articulated of the whims behind ‘EriNal’ e-journal for collaborating on enhancing the scopes, accessibility and standardization of scholarly researches by Eritrean students and academicians. This journal, which has been provided with access to World Wide Science, Research Papers in Economics (RePEc), PubPsych of the Leibniz Institute for Psychology Information (ZPID) and to health database of K4Health Project at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, expects to excel profiles of Eritrean students from home profoundly.
On how to avoid citation, educational fraud and copyright infringements, the ephemeral body elaborates that the e-journal is armed, in addition to Computer-assisted plagiarism detection (CaPD) systems, with software like Chimpsky, CitePla and PlagTracker, among others, thus to address probabilities of articles assemblage, academic dishonesty, essays scandals and article spinning.
In addition to the core aim at undergraduates’ works, the ‘EriNal’ named e-journal has also been open for graduates from inside and outside the country whose articles are crafted within Eritrean context in various fields. With ephemeral guidance from various academia members of different higher education institution from Eritrea and overseas countries, 18 members have established the temporary consultative board thus to pave ways for permanent and part time staffers.
In addition to that solicited and unsolicited articles are welcome for publication, the board has decided submission payments to be fixed at 45 dollar for all articles while to charge 100 dollar for qualified, highly contented and selected articles for publications.
With direct assistance from members of Misr International University of Egypt, Green Mountain College from Vermont of USA, China’s Guizhou University of Finance and Economics, Institute for Studies in Humanities and Cultures of Japan’s Nagoya City University and others, the board expressed its readiness to launch its official website in recent times.
