Alexander Pushkin's Birthday observed in Asmara

The Birthday of the internationally renowned Russian poet Alexander Pushkin was observed on 6 June in Asmara. The Ambassador of the Russian Federation, Mr. Azim Yarkhmedov, and other invited guests put wreath at the Monument of the poet.
Poems were presented in the Tigrigna and Russian languages on the occasion highlighting Alexander Pushkin’s contribution in literature and relations between Eritrea and the Russian Federation.
