Interesting discourse at a Reception held yesterday by EU Ambassador, Christian Manahl, at his residence in honour of Brian Hayes, visiting MEP.
"All foreign visitors to Eritrea invariably change their views & acknowledge negative narrative out there is utterly false", said Christian Manahl.
Another diplomat quipped: "Exception to the rule are journalists who face pressure from editors back home & find it difficult to admit were wrong".
