Eritrea and the European Union have today signed in Asmara 200 million Euro (11th EDF) Cooperation Agreement mainly slated for the energy sector.
The Agreement was signed by Dr. Giorghis Teklemicael, Minister of National Development, and Mr. Christian Manhal, EU Ambassador to Eritrea.
The five-year 200 million Euro development programme will be funneled to energy (175m), capacity building (20m) and technical assistance (5m).
