Eritrea's Foreign Minister, Osman Saleh, met with UN Secretary General Ban Ki-Moon on Monday, September 21st, on the margins of the UN GA.

FM Osman Saleh & the UN Secretary General held extensive discussions on global/regional security architecture, migration and human trafficking.

Foreign Minister Osman Saleh elaborated Eritrea's perspectives on the intertwined issues of regional and international peace and security.

FM Osman Saleh reiterated GOE's commitment  to work with the UN & concerned countries in addressing threats of global terrorism & extremism.

UN Sec. General applauded Eritrea's constructive engagement & role in the region; expressed satisfaction at level of UN-Eritrea partnership.
