Eritrea hires 35 Kenyans
By Albert Nyakundi
The Eritrean government has hired 35 Kenyans to work as expatriate lecturers in institutions of higher education.
Eritrean Ambassador Beyene Russom said his government picked Kenyans because the country has some of the best-trained manpower in the region.
In a statement, he said the lecturers left last week for Asmara, the capital and have started duty.
The recruitment was implemented by Magtech Inspiration Centre and Toolkit Institute.
The firms were hired by the Eritrean Commission of Higher Education.
