Ethiopian Commander Defected to Al-Shabab in Somalia

According to security officials an Ethiopian military commander has surrendered to Al Shabab militants in Kansahdhere, Bay Province.
The Ethiopian left AMISOM base in Kansahdhere and joined Al Shabaab camp in Ufurow.
The armed group Al Shabab have said they welcomed the Ethiopian commander who promised to convert his religion to Islam.
Ethiopian troops are part of AMISOM forces in south and central Somalia who support Somalia government.
Last week Al Shabab militants overrun AMISOM military base in Lego, 60 Burundian Soldiers were killed during heavy fighting in the area.
Al Shabab Fighters vowed to increase attacks against Somalia government and AMISOM troops.

ReplyDeleteI doubt it. But, why it is so important for Eritreans and Eritrea what Al-shabab gains or achieves than it loses. This tells a story where the Eritrean government mind set resting on, with terrorists. Most of the time when Al-shabab does something or achieve something the Eritrean media reports it but when Al-shabab is on the run Eritrean media is quite. When al-shabab commits terror act no Eritrean government comes out to condemn it. In regard to the above information, I remember when the Ethiopian air line was having its first flight fro addis to LA some passengers asked asylum in Dublin. Most of you concluded that it was Ethiopians in the flight that seek asylum in Dublin to imply not all Eritreans but Ethiopians also leave their country to reflect sure Eritrea is as bad as Ethiopia which makes it for Eritrea to abuse its own people. This is what one of your web regular vistor wrote "The UN will inform the planet now that these 8 Ethiopian refugees are actually Eritreans working in Ethiopian airlines.": However, those passengers were from Mali. If one Ethiopian commander defects to Alshabab it is a big deal for Eritrea than alshabab being a terrorist organization.

In my understanding of the political situation of Eritrea, a country pushed from every corner there is a possibility the Ginbot-7 militia and some Eritreans would fight alongside al-shabab, nothing has left for Eritrea to stand up and defend itself. I said a while back that if ginbot-7 has no way out of Eritrea and cannot attack Ethiopia from north the organization would be joining some groups and its tactic would become terrorist style.
Even though we are not there yet we are seeing a pretext for that to take place, Sending ginbot-7 militias and Eritrean solders to Somalia under the

You are saying "everybody" the report refers to one soldier. Do you comprehend ? Eritrea will try to create crisis in the region to shift the focus of the international community away from Eritrea's human right violations. The only strength Eritrea has is its military. They use their military strength to confuse and redirect attention of the international community's scrutiny. Gonbot-7, Al-shabab, and Eritrea's regular army would play a major role in this operation. There was a report on ESAT some kind of military operation in Tigray region had been taken place yesterday. This is going to be the norm from now on as Eritrea is trying to reverse the curse of the international community.
