On February 4, Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov, special presidential representative for the Middle East and Africa, received Petros Tsegai, Ambassador of Eritrea to Russia.
The sides exchanged opinions on the further development of Russia-Eritrea relations. They also discussed topical issues of strengthening peace and security in the Horn of Africa.

እቲ ብ4 ለካቲት ካብ ሚኒስትሪ ጉዳያት ወጻኢ ዝተዘርግሐ መግለጺ ዝርዝር ሓበሬታ እኳ እንተዘይብሉ፣ ኣብቲ ኣቐዲሙ ዝተኻየደ ንወፍሪ ዕደናን ጸዓትን ሩስያ ኣብ ኤርትራ ዝምልከት ተወሳኺ ዝርርብ ንምክያድ ክኸውን ከምዝኽእል ይግመት።
ሚኒትስር ጉዳያት ወጻኢ ኤርትራ ኣቶ ዑስማን ሳልሕ ዝመርሖ ልኡኽ መንግስቲ ኤርትራ፣ ኣቐዲሙ ኣብ ሩስያ ክልተ እዋን ወግዓዊ ናይ ስራሕ ምብጻሕ ብምፍጻም ምስ ሚኒስተር ጉዳያት ወጻኢ ሩስያ ሰርጌ ላቭሮቭን ካልኦት ሰበ ስልጣን እታ ሃገር ከምዝተዘራረበ ኣይርሳዕን።
ጠመተ ሩስያ ናብ ቀርኒ ኣፍሪቃ እናሓየለ ኣብ ዝመጸሉ ዘሎ ግዜ፣ ሚኒስተር ጉዳያት ወጻኢ ሩስያ ሰርጌ ላቭሮቭ ብወገኑ ኣብ ሱዳንን ኢትዮጵያ ዑደት ምክያዱ ይዝከር።
ኤርትራ እትርከበን ሃገራት ቀርኒ ኣፍሪቃ ኣብዚ እዋን’ዚ ኣብ ዕደናዊ ልዑል ንጥፈታት ዝርከባ ኮይነን፣ ጎኒ ጎኒ’ቲ ምስ ሓያሎ ሃገራት ዘካይድኦ ዘለዋ ኣብ ዕደና ዘተኮረ ስምምዓት፣ ሩስያ ካብ እትርከበን ሃገራት ኣጽዋር ንምሽማት’ውን ላዕልን ታሕትን ክብላ ከምዝርኣያ ወትሃደራውያን ምንጭታት ይጠቕሱ።
Isn't Russia the successor of that brutal commie regime who sponsored the destruction and blood shed of Ethiopia (by then included Eri) for an ideology alien to our people?
