  9. Asmara Birra aka Meloti was founded in 1938, way before many countries in the WORLD. We should have been the world leader in beer production if the company was not mismanaged by the Junta in Asmara. It is too late to compete with so many other beer manufacturers now.

  10. I wish the government would really encourage foreign investment (especially Eritrean Diasporas) via seminars and workshops. I can't see why Eritrea can not build hundreds of new factories in the coming decade to export goods to Euro/Asia. Think of how many jobs and opportunities that would create. We must take advantage of our strategic region and create a entrepreneurial spirit in the country. ERI-TV is needs to play a role in promoting success and new entrepreneurs in the country. Who knows in five years, Eritrea might even produce 10-15 beer brands after learning from the success of Asmara Brewery.

  12. I'd definitely be interested to invest... my money is on the "Can Do" people of Eritrea. Matter of fact, I'm visiting Eritrea in May and and preparing a Letter of Intent for a new heavy duty machine factory in Massawa via a strategic partnership. My banks in the U.S. and Africa are studying the political climate a little further, then we're designing and building. I believe once normalization takes effects 2015-2016, Eritrea will experience double digit growth through 2025. That's my personal observation.

  24. Would be marvelous if the fishery industry began in tandem with this initiative to a local market first and then for export, i'm sure the out-put would be successful, in EU countries eating fish is a sign of privileged class, we need to start to exploit it.

  27. How is it possible the expansion of a product for export is deemed as "market shrinking? Come on, you could do better than that and there is no need to show us your ignorance. Grow up, and if you cannot accept this good news, then it is better for you to shut up. There is no need to show you empty brain,

Then again, it is OK if you show us your empty brain. After all, with a desperado and a fool like you who needs another HASUS, damn fools at that.

  30. Melloti Birra plant “is in a position to produce 1,800 canned beers per hour” for export. Not to the Arab World, but African countries all the way to South Africa. The market shall include South Sudan, Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda, Malawi, Zambian Zimbabwe, Mozambique, South Africa, and Nambia.

Who is to introduce Meloti Birra to these countries ? Of course, the Ambassadors, the Eritreans in these countries.

  32. A exporting beer to a few countries in the region is big news for shaboon loser. Remember when Eritrean (Failing) Airlines leased a twenty year old airbus from Ukraine, it was celebrated by the losers here as if the sky is the limit. But then again for the flop national carrier Failing Airlines, leasing one old plane from eastern europe means doubling your fleet overnight doesn't it? Lol poor shaboons, they even cheered when Fly Olympic entered the Eritrean market. Remember that shameful episode just a few months ago. It was proof that Eritrea is on the way up and sanctions were fruitless. Then just one month later Fly Olympic went bankrupt and hundreds of Eritreans were stranded and failed to get their money back. I predict that this so episode will end in failure as well. The Eritrean people are industrious and hard working and could easily transform the country into a modestly prosperous nation. The dictator in chief however is determined to do anything he can to frustrate the country's growth.

With desperado like you, I sure like to see you and kind pull their hair every time Eritrea shine. Every time Eritrea shines, here we go the toothless barking dog at EDAGA ENUDAT, Please, do not make your self a laughing stock of the mature Eritrean public. Please, even if you are to write "doom and gloom" about Eritrea, do your best to give it a 24 hour shelf-life,

  37. Here is the thing HGDEF hates investors and educated Eritrean. There were several investment conference for couple of years ago, with a lot of propaganda but nothing happened. Which serious investor will invest in a country without rule of law (constitution). HGDEF forced rich Eritrean to leave the country and they are now investing their money in S.Sudan, Uganda, Angola etc. They know this maffia regim very well and wont return until real change happens in Eritrea (the removal of the dictator).

  41. With Eritreans, the 'Ambassadors", in these identified market countries, it will need only a year for Meloti Bear to be the lead drink. Who needs a advertisement, while the Ambassadors shall be there in the front line of distribution and promotion. The key words are 'ambassadors" , "distribution" and "promotion". Then again, you do not have the brains to understand these words and their power. Stay in the hood for a short time and you will understand what I am saying.

In this criteria Ethiopia is one of the best destination for foreign investors. Let me two of the most known beer factory in the world who invest in Ethiopia they are Heineken and Diego. have you seen the diffrence b/n Ethiopia and Eritrea in the foreign investors acceptance?
