Norway to return 500 migrants to Eritrea
Norway to return 500 migrants to Eritrea
Norway plans to return 500 migrants to Eritrea pending a return agreement with the Eritrean Government, according to Dr. Nazareth Amlesom Kifle.
The 500 migrants, which some have been living in the country for up to a decade, will consist of Eritreans who have broken Norwegian laws, Dr Nazareth said.
Due to the large number of Ethiopian migrants who masquerade as Eritreans when entering the EU, Norway is screening the migrants to see if they are from Ethiopia by checking their Tigrinya dialects and background, she added.
Many African migrants, particularly Ethiopians, claim they are Eritreans when entering Western countries due these countries unfairly selecting Eritreans with asylum approvals over others.
This politically motivated policy induces more Eritrean economic migrants to leave their homeland, which in turn, causes more African migrants to pretend to be Eritrean when entering the EU.

wtf why they sending them back?
ReplyDeleteHenok
ReplyDeleteYou need to read the article again. Norwegian authority said they broke their law. period!
wow!!!!! this is good news
ReplyDeleteThe authority is not specific what law is broken. It is not specific what agreement they have made with the Government of Eritrea. Is it monetary aid or other kind aid the Gov of Eritrea receiving is not mentioned.
ReplyDeleteThis is the outcome of GOE diplomatic strength.
ReplyDeletePut yourselves in the shoes of the refugees. They went through hell to get to Norway, just to get deported. I can't imagine anything worse.
ReplyDeleteWhat strength?? How much $$$$ is the government getting per head???
ReplyDeleteNo not strength just utter sickness of these African refugees showing up on their door steps. Europe is fed up with African immigrants and this is evident in the rise of ultra nationalist groups who are winning elections riding the anti-immigration wave.
ReplyDeleteNo one cares what you oppose. The free ride is coming to an end. No one can change the political landscape in Eritrea except Eritreans. These nations aren't stupid. They know most of these refugees are in fact "economic migrants". Heck all you have to do is go to Eritrea and ask them. What they say before they leave versus what they say after is totally different. They've learned and gamed the system for too long. Send them back but keep the criminals. We don't want them.
ReplyDeleteGood news for those who longed to be home, but for those charged with crimes; sorry we have no accomudations. We are focused on building schools, hospitals, and infrastructures not penitentiaries.
ReplyDeleteDoes anybody gives a hoot what you oppose? Huh? ደንቆሮ!
ReplyDeleteYou can't brake the laws in a country you've went for asylum & cry about being deported. The window is closing on all these fake asylum cry babies. The only reason for migration is economics not because their life is in danger. They are not politicians or rich & powerful people so why would the Government waste time to pursue people who are not a threat. All the lies come to light sooner or later.
ReplyDeleteYou are right Ida they been through hell, but nobody forced them to leave the way they have done except of their dream to be rich soon. It did not only happen to Eritreans. The whole Africa is on as a maraton ttoir their dreamland, as if all the people in Europe got rich without hardwork. If it was that simple the Norwegians would have left their country in masses to enjoy the sun in Africa:) But people are happy with what they have and fight to make their country bloomish with their sweat and tears. A dignified national doesn't go and beg the killers of his own brother.
ReplyDeleteAgain, these refugees 1) abondened the flag they swear for and their country 2) they been the cause for all relatives abroad to carry the burden and made them a laughing stock of the smugglers 3) they opened the pandora box of tgray to call themselves Eritreans 4) and the worst part , a big loose for Eritrea are all youth who lost their life and those who carry lots of infectious desease with them and God knows if the government has the possibility to give medical care to all returnees.
ReplyDeleteKid Humum ! You are one of the smugglers.
ReplyDeleteNo you are wrong the main reason people left the country is because of the opposition and woyane's combined hardwork and as of the refugees own words " ab sidet zelekhum Adina metsikhum tgebruwo kulu HafHaf agagikhumuna". So these young refugees took a desparate and unccalculated risk for their life for money and twisted political reasons, where they now regret a lot.
ReplyDeleteMost of all they need to keep the FAKE Eritreans from across the border away of Eritreans. But our government has the biggest responsibility to differentiate who is who and not to bring all home and suffer.
ReplyDeleteHayaT1
ReplyDeleteHas Norway any responsibility to go in any country and fix the Government? USA did for years but failed miserably, so why Norway do the dirty job for you baby?
why the hell they should tell you all the agreements they've made? It's non of your business...Norway has the right to send you and your kinds back home if you brake the Norwegian law...period.
ReplyDeleteIt's true Ida...unfortunately they went ( whether trough hell or heaven) and entered illegally to that country...it's unfortunate but we should expect it...that's the reality.
ReplyDeleteWhy don't you send back to those who say "nihna nisu nisu risina" so that the irony will be stopped and justice will preserve!
ReplyDeleteLet all African countries refugees flood to Europe without risking their life, they are the cause of our migration.
ReplyDeleteIf I was responsible to deport immigrants from UK. I would have deported you first to Ethiopia, because of your behavior and terror attack to Eritrean embassy in UK. Agame wahid
ReplyDeleteMaybe some deal can be made?
ReplyDeleteThere are many Eritreans with Europeans citizenship who say that the political situation in Eritrea is fine and that there is no opression. The only problems are economical.
As others that are fleeing Eritrea have a different opinion about this, they could exchange nationalities.
Maybe the doctor can work out a system how this could be facilitated?
- Eritrea than does not have to bother about these lazy traitors, who just want to get rich.
- In exchange it gets super nationalistic youth, who are willing to work their ass off. And they dont mind about having a proper justice system, free press, multiparty democracy or other things through which the West tries to exploite the developing world.
- The European youth gets to work on all the development projects instead of hearing about them during meetings. Lucky them!
- The African borns get their European citizenships and finally can start living a normal life after the long journey and can start to get rich.
- The doctor gets to work on a nationality exchange system, something that never happened in history, working on such a new project will make her famous.
Everyone happy.

ReplyDeleteNice try "Belalia" i thought you guys with out head are minorities now, look at your self before 3-4 years and now you are losing big time.
ReplyDeleteCome and join the masses before the ship is left.
"Memhir nai xlulat" what are you talking about?
ReplyDeleteFirst and foremost i don't live in the UK, and if i was responsible for deporting i would deport your kinds and it would be legal and morally acceptable. Mishti wedi 40.
"Not penitentiary" joke of the year! Let me remind you only a few and eritreans are calling them "concentration camps"...Dahlak, Aderset, Nakura, Agip Massawa, Prima country Barentu, Halib Mentel near Keren, inda 6y Asmara, godagudi Tesseney, Wia, Ady abeito Asmara, Adi Kuala, 6y Brgaid Sawa, containers near mai srwa........etc....etc. The names are countless.
ReplyDelete"You guys are big jokes".
If you are,
ReplyDelete· Eritrean seeking asylum for legit political reasons, you should be accepted, although I am a PFDJ supporter.
· Eritrean seeking asylum for economic reasons, it is a fair game if they deport you, since you may be holding a job of someone native that deserves it better.
· Agame seeking asylum with a stolen Eritrean Identity, your ass deserves to be in Eritrean Jail performing heavy Road work as a partial pay back.
· Non-Agame/Non-Eritrean seeking asylum with a stolen Eritrean Identity, your ass deserves to be in Jail in a country of your choice.
To all non-Eritrean future asylum seekers, your ass in trouble.
Rora by haile Gebru might be a must listen for you and you should put it on your things to do list, that is if you are an organized person. However, the names of the places you listed above are just that and should have helped you to understand what i said. 78 has three rooms and at best can accomudate. 30-40 offenders, mai srwa the same and offenders are put their to reflect on the mistakes they made and are allowed to earn pocket money by working at the flower plant there- smelling roses and being around blomming rose buds is in no way incarceration. Adi Abeito as you know is one of our industrial area and brick and marble processing exists there so the offenders are given the exposure if this interest them to pursue as a career and better themselves. Here too no room for over 80 individuals. Our islands need not metion here but you and i know that they are the envy of all, a work is being done there and no prison structure, containers might serve as indoor sleeping quarters to those that dont enjoy a starry night to the sounds of the waves from the majestic Red Sea. Halib mantel, with its proxy to the regional transportion adminstration: Hashferai halib mantel is the land of milk and honey. Prima country had a fence around for the woyane POW during the war of agression by your friends to the south but today condos and townhomes adore barentu city. The same with tesenai and so on. So what i was say about those soon to be in Eritrea is welcome home but if you are a criminal its better you insist on staying where you are, nothing personal.
ReplyDeleteHere come.... show down in Bologna.
ReplyDeleteWhile our brothers and sisters perished escaping the brutality of the regime in Asmara, the supporters of the regime are going to celebrate until the wee hours in Bologna.
Ay'bahilinan people. Ageb people.
That's why I am convenes the regime supporters are all agames and have huge identity crises. They know they are not de'kebat and have no place in FREE eritrea.
Eritrea and it's people will prevail.
I understand your attitude is totally out of control. You clearly tell that you have lost with whatever you tried to disintegrate Eritreans is valueless. The people of Eritrea are smart enough and spit on your face. You deserve it.
ReplyDeleteShut up. Who are you to decide who is more Eritrean than others? Bologna will only prove what most of us already know. That the Diaspora still is predominantly pro-government. Ironically you'll see a whole lot of refugees at the event as well. More or more of them are finding their way into the community and we'll be there to welcome them with open arms.
ReplyDeleteSo, where are you stationed now?
ReplyDeleteFrom your analysis it seems to me that you don't know Eritrea at all.
ReplyDeleteHow long have you been living out side Eritrea?
Are you one of those who payed 2%, go to Eritrea 2-3 times in a decade, eating tibsi at edaga laka and drinking Akua Fresh and say "adha niber" slaves of their stomach?
Do you need it for real, write down your email address and i will send you my telephone number even?
ReplyDeletethanks zeragi

Edaga Lahka in deed has Qulwa and mai gas but i get my mai gas at moderna, dolce vita or hakose'A'; araya grande, sham, hiwot or langano may be for the meatlovers but i am a vegan. Yes ADHA NBER and its for all the selfless Eritreans including Keteenay! There you have it, eventhough unrelated issue.

ReplyDeleteThe enormity and far reaching effects the none governmental mentality mafia AKA HGDF has caused in the country and the people can be noted by the rather skewed comments some of its cohorts make on different media forums.
ReplyDeleteBut it is imperative to know there is a direct correlation between the politics (governance) and the state of economy in any country. When we look at Eritrea, thanks to the HGDF Dark Age voodoo unenlightened, outdated politics, the economy is in shamble and because of that Eritreans are forced to leave to just anywhere. The entire policies
of the régime is hanged on the good will of a blood drenched narcissist psychopath.
Its psychic is predicated on his fast oscillating mood, and most importantly, on fear and suspension. He himself is the law, the country and the people all in one. Because this portray has been continuously presented by the government controlled media, the good people, especially those without unscrupulous mind accept. One should revisit some of the noted tyrants in recent history of the world to identify the specific behavioral similarities of the unenlightened despots, the policies they applied, the suffering of their people and how they ended up.
While all governments are prone to make mistakes, HGDF has a peculiar form of stupid political inability to understand the very obvious and take corrective measures. This is the very opposite to any form of functional government. In spite of differing in their ideological credos, all forms of governments (East and West) are privy to such governing reality.
If one asks “Why are people incarcerated in dungeons without due process for decades?” the predicted response of the mafia and its tools is the obvious saber-rattling ranting. The Jews, Communists, imperialism were some of the propagandas of NAZI Germany, and Woyane, Ethiopia, CIA … the convenient lament of HGDF.
The underlying cause that is forcing Eritreans to leave the very country they love the most is the absence of normalcy within Eritrea. The main reason Eritreans choose to leave the very land of their ancestors, which their forefathers died for to liberate is not due to the starvation or poverty but due to the unbearable medieval type barbaric policy of the mafia.
No matter how one tries to hide using nationalist zeal phrases and intimidations, there is no other third venue this time. Let’s admit it: the state of Eritrea and all of its people is steered under the hand of a self-absorbed drained maniac, which has caused the influx of Eritreans to far and near parts of the world.
We should continue writing letters the Norwegian government and the European Union to stop the forced deportation of Eritreans back to Eritrea.
