Congratulation to all graduates and wish you all the best!
ReplyDeleteCongra!!!!! It is the fruit of your hard work. Good job.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations to the Graduats and theri families.
ReplyDelete***I hope the government takes care of these graduates by finding them appropriate jobs and pay them handsomely so as to reflect their hard work.
Congratulations graduate!
ReplyDeleteYour people are proud of you. I am hopping you chase your dreams all over the world. Best wishes for your career ahead where ever you go.
Really! What are you smoking. Sawa is not a private institution. Why do you have to lie.
ReplyDeleteThat picture if from the US. Why is it advertised as if it was taken from Eritrea.
ReplyDeleteWedinakfa,
ReplyDeleteIt is fine to make a good wish. However, there was much hard work done in providing them the opportunity than their individual works for their own sake. So, if all the hard works are to be reflected by handsome salaries, the first in line are Warsay-Yikialo. These graduates have been already paid gruesomely by the free education and opportunities they were offered. Please do not prompt youngsters to feel too proud about their achievements and tend to think as if they deserve more than the rest of the hard working people. In fact, I would rather remind them of the responsibilities they owe to the country.
Your comment reminds me of some foreigners who used to entice me by telling that the payments I received back home did not parallel my "brilliance" (I don't know what the heck they meant by that phrase). In a nut shell, these are nice looking, intoxicated words intended to drive the youth (most importantly those who excelled in their education) out of the counry.
Segum thanks.
ReplyDeleteI do understand your point of view, I did not mean to discriminate against warsay yikalo; Our government has promised them and I am sure they will deliver the promises.
My point is that hence Africa is a brain drain, so Eritrea has lost a lot of educated people for several reasons which applies to them, there fore it is in mind that to avoid this kind of loss they have to be assinged on their fileds! hope my point in tune to your ponit of view!
When I see news like this, I feel happy and grateful for the Eritreans, as Segum mention it down, it's beautiful to get free and high quality education and then use it back, in Our case first to Eritrea, then of course to humans in general, cause it's about knowledge (light of life).
ReplyDeleteMy thanks are to All Eritreans (People & GoE) that invests to make Education "prior" as Health & food security. Sectors that will bring Us surely in to higher level.
LOL
ReplyDeleteThat is funny. Do you know any accredited (by abroad) higher institution in Eritrea?
What I am trying to say is if the individual that just graduated want to go abroad to get their masters or Phd's would an institution techology get them by?
Higher education shouldn't be free, Eritrea should have a student loan program and student should be made to pay back or obtain loan forgiveness for years of service rendered within Eritrea.
ReplyDeleteI agree. No one appreciates something when it's free. A small nominal fee should be assessed so these kids understand how the real world truly works.
ReplyDeleteWho said that? What was said was "aid should be limiting" so as to not create dependency. Also that Eritreans should be able to dictate its implementation because we know our situation a whole lot better than someone who comes with a checklist mentality in applying aid across the board. As for this donation, this is merely a charitable donation and not aid that causes dependency. By the way, when was it the responsibility of a government to clothe all its people? Nevertheless please try to inform yourself prior to spouting off at the mouth.
ReplyDeleteGood idea but first the government should pay compensation for those who paid heavy price by spending decades in military service.
ReplyDelete"Inka zeifelit men haba almedo".
I'll go to any school except to the one you went to because your English sucks.
ReplyDeleteThey deserve a whole lot more and it is imperative the Diaspora plays a part in assisting. We can't wait on the government, with its limited resources, to solve all Eritrea's problems.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations to the Students and to the Nation of Eritrea for well done schooling and success.
ReplyDeleteHigher education is free in most of the country in the world. You loan students when you know that majority of the gets a job and be able to pay back. But in Eritrea there is no job that pays you to make a living. Most of the people are under modern slavary working for pocket money. The country has not created jobs in over 10 years.
ReplyDeleteHow should the diaspora plays its part?
ReplyDeleteIs yours better ???
ReplyDeleteFor starters less talk, more action.
ReplyDeleteCongrats Grads! Now go make Eritrea proud!
ReplyDeleteAnyone going to Bologna?
ReplyDeleteSubtle hypocracy? If i am not mistaken you and the likes of you cry foul when youth try to chase their "dream all over the world, then the question is who do you think will build the Eritrea you think is disintegrating because of GOE? if you are realy crying foul for"change" either political or economical, who do you think will do that?..... am sure you will answer the people especially the edycated youth, yet people like you advocate for the youth to leave the country and conspire with the real enemy in the name of Eritrean people. if this type of behaviour is not hypocrac, what is?
ReplyDeleteCheck Europe to learn how people are working for FREE. They give you the chance to learn their language and serve them for free for decades. Those who go to college and attend should loan a lot of money and owed thousands of euros, which people have difficult to pay back. So who told that all get paid job? It is worse than slavery whrever you go in Europe too ! Look our young in Italy, do they have a daily bread? Nope ! So what is good about leaving the country illegally and face the worst situation ever? It is not first time that people leave the country. But all who left before where at least thinking for their own safety.
ReplyDeleteHe never care if these youngsters end-up on seas and shores. He is one of the smugglers.
ReplyDeleteFirst congratulation with the best wishes to the students. You are a sick person, your nick names tells it all 'where is the cruise'. A cruise missile shot by whom and against whom? Your glossolalia is like an echo with no meaningful sense.
ReplyDeleteAnd you should pay for those they fallen for hallal meriet. Big mouse n no action. Simply, we don't need theoretical smarts.
ReplyDeleteNow you are ill advicing then you will knock the so called HRW doors to blame the government. I think you or close family member are smugglers. You care about your dirty stock market.
ReplyDeleteWhy are you barking??? They have right to go where ever they want. Why you trying to restrict their freedom of movment?? The government of Eritrea has not done what it supposed to do. The government has chased the investors and small bussness owners. Those are the one who could create jobs and employee those graduated students. Since there is no job for these people, they have a right to go to companies around the world that hires them.
ReplyDeleteEritrea never claimed to be a land of milk and honey nor does it claim to have the best of everything such as education , health, economy etc....but what Eritrea said was we need all the help we can get but let us do it our way, yet people like you twist everything that is Eritrea just because you hate the GOE come on man!... let me ask you a question man wherever you live......when you get a personal loan from a bank does the bank give you a list of things you must spend the money on? i don't thinks so. That is whats going on in the entire world. I suggest you compare Philippines economy with Malaysia, you may learn something.
ReplyDeleteEurope is a big continent with many countries. Which country are you referring when you talk about Europe??
ReplyDeleteSad Scenario and Future Agony
ReplyDeleteIsaias and his Popular Front for Destruction and Jealousy (PFDJ) practically
destroyed higher education in Eritrea and changed it ito military training
centers with no protest from us Eritreans. That is shame and degrading
scenario. Today it is not surprising to see the extent of its impact on those
Eritreans who are going to exile. Most of them have no or very rudimentary
(very mediocre) qualifications (if they have at all)l.... and they hardly speak
English. They are destined to work as manual laborers such as cleaners, guards…
etc. . I am very much concerned that if PFDJ destructive work (task) continues
unabated, Eritreans (natives) can end up being servants, cleaners, guards...etc
of settlers (or foregners with money and knowledge in their own country). Of course, the settlers will be future policy
makers, professionals…, and entrepreneurs in our own country (Eritrea). This
has been already started. God has merci and thanks to PFDJ and its supporters.
You understood it. Didn't you?
ReplyDeleteThanks John Kerry.
ReplyDeletebut the local media never published about the aid Eritrea got....
ReplyDeletelook at bologna festival the amount of money spent for useless thing instead of helping sdra swuat, tsgumat....
