OSO, Wash. — President Barack Obama has congratulated Meb Keflezighi (kehf-LEHZH’-gee) on becoming the first American man in 31 years to win the Boston Marathon.
The White House says Obama telephoned Keflezighi on Tuesday as Air Force One flew Obama to Washington state to survey damage from a massive mudslide last month that killed more than three dozen people.
Keflezighi won Monday’s 26.2-mile race in 2:08:37, one year after a pair of bombings near the finish line killed three people and wounded hundreds more.
Keflezighi took to Twitter after Obama’s call to tell his followers, quote, “I have received many congratulatory calls, but I just received THE call from President @ barackobama.”

ReplyDeleteObama even though he is half Kenyan is like a white man. He had no loyalty to the Americans who are of African descent. So why would he even be loyal to those who are closer to him. As a descendant of Africa I don't see how he could even put sanctions on any country on that beautiful continent. To be honest with you all I dislike the wicked title of African American. The only reason we have this title is because our ancestors had been pillaged from their homelands and force to build a white mans nation. And not only that but forced to inter copulate so as the DNA got mixed up. We Americans from Africa decent suffer because we don't have any idea of self because our culture was stripped away. So ones like to st the very least have s connection to Africa we learn as much as we can about the history of the continent and its people so as to have some kind of connection to our ancient ancestry.
ReplyDeleteI also feel hurt for my brothers and sisters of the continent of Africa. Who have also been stripped of culture and language. And right now are being stripped of precious gems, stones and metals. I wish the Europeans and Asians would keep their greedy paws out of my peoples homeland and leave the continent of Africa alone. Because all they want is to pilfer the abundant natural resources and test the children.
ReplyDeleteYou are right Obama's sanctions are unfair but he had no loyalty to anyone of African decent. It makes my stomach ache anytime I get called African American. Because I doubt know exactly what nation my ancestors came from. All my DNA tells me is anywhere in the north African continent.
ReplyDeleteObama don't care about that. He's a politician a American politician. And he would've called who ever won that's his job.
ReplyDeleteYou can blame Obama for Americas problem but for Africa, it is our fault we can not blame others but our dictators.

ReplyDeletePH-woyane,
ReplyDeleteI understand you are used to sweet-aid of your masters. Ethiopia cannot survive without :)
Thank you buddy, we all know the reason of all suffering of mankind is greed and ONLY-ME obssession.
ReplyDeleteMeles never been honest to his country
ReplyDelete((tgray??? or should I say ethiopia(???)), or his people and himself EVER. Someone who is not honest to himself cannot be honest to his friend, for the reason he paid the price of betrayal
RIP
All of us as Africans... No matter if we are descendants of the stolen or still native we need to get the pale conquer and colonizer out of the land which have birth to life...
ReplyDeleteFully agreed
ReplyDeleteThe white man is to blame and I stand by that. They've brainwashed everyone into thinking they're way is the best way but their way is killing everything and everyone...
