Construction of a Cold Store Near Alebu is 60% Complete
Construction of a cold store near the town of Alebu is 60% complete, the Ministry of Information disclosed.
The joint venture project is being constructed by the local Musa Ali Construction Company and the Chinese Company Sefeco Group.
When completed, the cold store will have the capacity to stockpile around 2,000 tones of agricultural products such as fish, meat and vegetables.
Plans to construct similar projects in Massawa and Adi-Guaedad are slated for the near future, the ministry reported.
