Eritrea Establishes Diplomatic Relations with Kyrgyzstan

March 06, 2014 (Bishkek) – The Permanent Mission of the Kyrgyz Republic to the United Nations in New York signed a joint communique on establishment of diplomatic relations between Kyrgyzstan, the State of Eritrea and the Seychelles.
The announcement was made by the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Both documents state that the Parties expressing their mutual willingness to develop and strengthen friendship and cooperation between their countries.
The nations agreed to establish diplomatic relations at ambassadorial level in accordance with the provisions of the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations of April 18, 1961 and confirmed its intention to build a relationship in accordance with the UN Charter and the principles of peaceful coexistence, equality and mutual respect for territorial sovereignty and non-interference in the internal affairs of each other.
The parties also expressed confidence that the establishment of diplomatic relations will contribute to the development of bilateral cooperation and strengthen the peace.
