Massawa Airways gets green-light to start operations in Eritrea
Massawa Airways receives a green-light by the Eritrean Civil Aviation Authority to operate its sole MA60 in the country, according to ch-aviations, a Switzerland-based aviation site.
The announcement comes after talks in November between Eritrean officials and China's Xian Aircraft Company led to the aircraft's certification.
With the goal of serving domestic flights, Massawa Airways was established in 2012, making it the third domestic airliner in the country, after Eritrean Airlines and NasAir Eritrea Airways.
