Eritrea wins stage 1 of the African Continental Cycling Championship in Egypt.
For the fourth consecutive time, Eritrean cycling team won the first stage of African Continental Cycling Championship in Sharm el-Sheikh, Egypt.
The Eritrean riders who took part in the team time trial are Natnael Berhane, Meron Teshome, Meron Russom and Daniel Teklehaimanot.
Eritrea's women National Team, which is competing for the first time, also won gold. The women’s team is comprised of Yerusalem Gebru, Tsehainesh Fitsum and Senait Mengis.
