Dan Connell admits there was no coup attempt in Eritrea
January 24, 2013
On Monday, January 21, 2013, Dan Connell, along with Léonard Vincent and Martin Plaut were the sources of a vicious and nasty rumor of a coup taking place in Eritrea. Days later, after realizing no coup was ever attempted in Eritrea, Mr. Connell attempts to save face by saying:
"I think we've over interpreted what happened on Monday. I don't think it was ever a coup.....I don't think they were trying to seize power. I don't think they made any demands in that direction."In other words, Mr. Connell and reporters of his ilk made it up. At least he owned up to his premeditated "mistake". We're still waiting on Martin Plaut and Léonard Vincent to own up to their coup hoax.

I think its a tactical regret from the so-called mercenary journalist thus aimed for his future misinformation & lies over the state of Eritrea and its People & Leaders.
