Construction of Senafe Hospital Nearing Completion
May 2, 2011 (ERITREA) – Construction work on a new hospital in Senafe is nearing finalization, state media reports. Costing nearly 3 million dollars to build, the new hospital will relieve local inhabitants from traveling to Adi-Keih to gain medical service.
Contract for developing this project was awarded to the Segen Construction Company; which has given a steady job opportunity to dozens of local inhabitants. When completed, the hospital is expected to accommodate and treat thousands of citizens annually from the greater Senafe Sub-Zone.
It is to be noted, Senafe's last hospital was completely destroyed during Ethiopia's invasion in 2000.
Funding: Eritrean Government
Contractor: Segen Construction Company
