Eritrean superstar Helen Meles, along with her band, completed their highly anticipated East African tour last month. The tour first began on January 7th at Kampala, Uganda, then headed off for Juba, South Sudan from the 14-15th of the same month, and finally concluded their performances in late January at Nairobi, Kenya.
Eritrean music is rapidly becoming popular among East African nations. Request by foreign governments and businessmen to have Eritrean musicians perform in their nations is rising. One reason for this rapid increase certainly has to be attributed to Youtube. The online video sharing website gives African citizens unprecedented access to different types of music videos from neighboring nations.
