World's Top 10 Poorest Nations
The prestiges Oxford University, in collaberation with the United Nations, have issued a new top ten poverty index. This new system of measurment, which is called the Multidimensional Poverty Index, or MPI for short, has replaced the UN's former poverty meassurment, known as the Human Poverty Index.
The idea is this poverty measurement will give a "multidimensional picture of people living in poverty" that complements income measurements "by reflecting a range of deprivations that afflict a person's life". According to the researchers, these measurements will include whether a household has a decent toilet, clean water to drink within 30 minutes of walking, the number of school-aged children enrolled, electricity access, and if any member within a household is malnourished.
Based on these standards, their research shows war-torn Niger is the world's poorest country, followed by Ethiopia, Mali, Burkina Faso, Burundi, Somalia, Central African Republic, Liberia, Guinea, and Sierra Leone. Moreover, of 25 poorest nations, their research showed 24 are located in Africa

I think it,s soo sad and tragic that this is what society has come to.The rich get richer and the poor get poorer.It,s sick!!!!!
